I suddenly have a strong desire to buy and watch a slinky!

cecameron responds:

And I suddenly want to animate Jo bouncing down the stairs...

Poor tag along Tacker! Short, no depth perception and mute. Well I assume mute.

Now to see if Jo has a window of opportunity to escape. Heh, window!

cecameron responds:

She might be able to use him as a brace for the fall, at least!

Now we get a lava lamp for Burt!

I assume that you're making one for each of the main cast? As much as I would love to see them all, I am hopeful that we could see Thadius! On the topic of the Behemoths, Will we see Wald anytime soon? I love looking at the character section and speculating on when I will finally get to meet the full rich cast!

Thanks for the comic too. It has to be a very time consuming project, but its easy to see you love it. I'm envious of your ability to draw an admire your writing. I have so many stories that I would rather see as comics instead of 100+ page books. I can see why you're a successful animator!

cecameron responds:

Thank ya so much for your kind comment! I was planning on doing the main three characters, but I'm open to suggestions for new animations, always! Wald will be arriving some time later, as well as a third Behemoth that I haven't revealed yet.

Gotta say, Molotov is growing on me. She is just as unpredictable as the fire she summons and I love it. Best iron jawed villain in a tube top on the net! -like there are any others-

Her interactions with Tacker when Haskel first created him was pure magic. You have a knack for pouring personality into your characters that's rare in the comic landscape. My only complaint is having to wait for Mondays and Fridays.

cecameron responds:

I wanted Molotov to treat Tacker like he was her brother, 'cause someone's gotta look out for the little guy!

Contemplative Jo is contemplative!

This gif has lava lamp qualities! But just about all the SO gifs you've made are. I love it when you add in rain, esp when Jo was looking out the window, the one of her in the rain just makes me shiver and have feelings. FEELINGS!

cecameron responds:

Thank you so much! "Lava Lamp" is the best description I have heard yet, I love it!

Mischievously pleased Jo in rare form!

Is it wrong that I hear Randy Newman singing Short People?

cecameron responds:

Haha, poor guy! I've never heard that song until now.

The stress of being King Nocturne! SAVE JO!!

He must have some amazing skills to be king in the first place.... though I just as easily see him fumbling into the position via dumb luck.

I prefer to think of him as very humble and unwilling to be mean/rough with folks. Why else does he turn the criminal elements into Nebulis?!

cecameron responds:

Nocturne doesn't always handle things in the best way, but everything he does is what he believes is the right thing to do. I have an arc planned that shows how he came to be the king (and you actually... pretty much nailed it on the head!).

You best not be stepping to Peridot, or you'll end up CLOD in the ground!

I have a strong desire to photoshop her paint can stilts on!

SuperPhil64 responds:

OH MAN! Why did i not think of the cans?

this is great, I fell in love with your comic after finding this in the art portal! I have so many questions!!! Why is Jo's arm half black, what are the little ear like nubs on the bottom of her cheeks that nobody else seems to have? What exactly are the Shade Shifters?

Many others but I dont want to flood a review with them.

I really enjoy your art style and story telling ability. I am glad you came back to the comic as stated in your website's about section. It may have only taken me about an hour to marathon your archive but I could not help but reread the whole story a couple of times. I truly cant wait till we see more of the characters you outlined as well.

Sometimes I feel like I am missing comics, like the story jumped ahead without me, but only a couple of times. I am pumped to add this great comic to my routine!

P.S. MORE BLISTER SISTERS!!! please?

cecameron responds:

Hi there, I'm so glad you like the comic, thanks so much for reading! I'll do my best to answer your questions without giving too much away-

Jo's dark arm/legs/cheek spot have to do with growing up, I've got a mini story planned to explain that. The ear nubs were just a design choice, really.

The Shade Shifters will be getting their own story arc eventually!

Thanks so much for your kind words - I hope you like what's to come! (Oh, and don't worry - there's SO MUCH MORE planned for the Blister Sisters!)

I like the art, but I am super confused about the subject since it seems JU is still drawing breath as far as I can tell. Whats the deal here?

Now offering nicer reviews with some brutal truths mixed in. Why? I don't know. Mostly I just get sick of looking at every flash and dedicating my time to pointing out obviously bad stuff. I'd rather praise the good. Most of the time anyway.
