well, i wasn't actually inspired from something to make this one. i just thought about making a random scene of this character's background, hence why she looks like a child here. thank your very much for your kind words

LOL, you drew yourself in such a way that one could only see you as a sentient tumor growing out of her neck, and I absolutely LOVE that!

This actually does a good job of conveying how much you love her I think, great work.

Now can you please start giving us the new Merry Melony already?!? Since you came back to the grounds and announced the revival, Ive been chewing through my damn arm in anticipation and excitement!! I keep re-watching the original just to stave off the onset of the DTs! Cant wait to see how the new method and story tweaks play out!

Gotta dig the little details hidden in plain view. The woman's milky right eye? Oh yes. The bashed head child giving a sly A-OK sign? Awesome. The evil crab creature that I'm sure is only a figment of my fucked up mind that looks to be hiding in the woman's hair? Lets just say your friends had better keep it up on the wall for years to come.

If this does not inspire some creepy pasta, I'd be shocked.

Nice! I love to see BR used in any way by young artists. I grew up watching him on PBS, I did not have many channels and I loved his work. When he died I lost a part of myself. He is and always will be one of my idols.

I think he would like your idea of the paintbrush folk, maybe not so much him killing them off, but I enjoyed that so its ok in my mind LOL.
