Yarrr!

Every time I see this song put to animation I am saddened that almost no animator uses the whole song, so imagine my joy to discover you did in fact animate it all!

Animation style is good, not much need for polish and only minor criticisms not worth going into. Very smooth and solid animation over all. [Captain Spectacular]

Dear god no!

Why did you have to kill him off?! This would have made an awesome series!

The humor was quite good, Its like you mixed Zapp Brannigan and The Swain's Mastermind. There was something familiar about this that I just cant put my finger on but it was great.

I hope you do make more of Captain Spectacular, he deserves another animation damn it!

Also, if you see Fernando in the afterlife, sucker punch him, that was fuckin hilarious!

One question, how long did it take you to animate?

[Madness Duke Nukem]

A new twist on an old favorite

I liked the switch of having the overly Americanized Duke as a Russian voiced animation. I mean he could have been saying anything and most people stateside would have no clue but I still found it refreshing.

Correct me if I am wrong but the title was not meant to imply a relation to the Madness animations by Krinkles but it was meant to express the madness of the zany humor. That is my take anyway.

Nice animation, Could be a bit smoother but I am not complaining. I liked the way you drew Duke as well, something about the thick torso with little legs made me smile.

My "Madness" series involves no massacres like "Madness Day" and the insanity of the protagonist, it should behave like a crazy. Thanks for the detailed review, andrew-w-p. Animation really could do better, but I was limited in time

[Long, inactive days]

Trippy

Interesting work, but not really much animation, just pictures set to weird music that slowly moved. On that note, everything was VERY slow, frustratingly so. The whole thing left me feeling anxious.

Hard to explain but it is an unpleasant sensation. Sort of like knowing you are trapped in a room while you are really stoned and there is only one red light in the room and an oscillating, warbling tone coming from a broken speaker that mixes in static. Felt like that watching this.

I'm not much of an animator, really. Just making images is more my thing, I guess. I enjoy producing animations though, I should probably find someone who likes animating more than me and is willing to help me out...

Anyways, I'm kind of proud I managed to 'activate' such an intense feeling, even though it's unpleasant... I've been through a phase of having panic attacks every day last year or so, so that could definitely explain why my animations from that time period could make people feel uneasy.

Funny as hell

I have friends who are exactly like that, oblivious to a fault due to nerdy interests. I myself am a huge nerd and once upon a time I had a nerdy girlfriend. She turned out to be a cheating bitch, but I have yet to find someone as geeky to fill the void. Love the animation, it really hit me on a deep level. I meant to wright a review when you first published but I forgot until it popped up on stumble! Keep em commin!

Oh lord yes

The angry old vet, the bitchy competitive ass kissing woman, the boss who is dumber than shit, the guy who cant speak English, getting written up for doing nothing by some guy who is so anal retentive he could turn peanut butter into diamonds! The new guy getting promoted over everyone else.

You spoke to something I have gone through, something many of us have gone through. Sadly the venue changes but the politics and bullshit never does. Working in retail had the same issues as all the years I have worked in a hospital.

Hope you make more, with smoother animation. Not bad for a pilot. Could use a bit of polish but the story and idea are top notch. Keep it up!

Well...

I will say this, it is better than all of the lame ass clock day shit that's out today. Anyway the animation was alright, not the best but still got the point across without looking like it was made in 98.

Reminds me of driving around with my friends and the weird stuff they say. Good job, but room for improvement

Yeah the main 'experiment' was to draw realistic and express the voice clip the right way. The last part I pretty much slapped together to get the thing complete.

[The World is Saved]

So true, too true

What a truth. In my twenty seven years I have saved many worlds digitally, and can, as many of you do, to heading to bed after a ending a game and feeling those pangs of depression. Now what do I do, I beat it, now what?

Games are art. I have been moved to tears from a game, ( If you did not at least get chills from the end of FF-X or Red Dead Redemption to name a few you are not human) more so than any book or movie. There is just something about the investment we give in playing a game to the very end. The frustration of waiting till the next game finally comes out, the pure joy of opening the plastic wrap and flipping through a manual for the first time. The exploration, challenges over come.

I love the song, I love the video. I am a proud gamer and I accept this as my theme song.
